Thanks for coming Home2Africa (H2A)!
Home2Africa is a community project and contributions from the community are essential to its growth and success. Contributing to the Project is easy and you can give as little or as much time as you want. Anyone can contribute on any level and here are just a few ways you can get started
The word Africa is derived from the arabic word given by the Ottoman arab so-called slave traders, from AL FURAQA meaning "THE SEPARATION." The root word of AL FURAQA is FARAQA, to part, to separate. Originally Africa was written AFRIYQAA, now it is written AFRIYQIYAH. The Romans called it Africa, from the Latin Africa (Sunny), or (Burnt by the Sun) or the Greek Aphrike (without cold, the hot place). The word Africa describes an incident, the separation of land, not people. It has been known by various names including Havilah, Nubia, Kemet, Cush to name a few. The hub of civilization on the planet Earth also known by various names including Tanen, Eridu, Ereth,Terra, Arduwt, Ard, Orb, Tamtu, Tiwawat, Tiamat, Qi, Ki etc. Mother Africa, a land of abundant riches has been raped and abused for many years leaving many of its inhabitants today separated, segregated, in poverty and destitution. Many great leaders and influential personalities including Noble Drew Ali, Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley etc. have advocated repatriation and unification of the continent.
We are dedicated to doing what we can to rebuild the whole of Africa back to it's pristine glory. Our initial focus however is west Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone etc. So, for those of you who have always asked "what can I do to help?" Well, here's your chance to go Home2Africa and do your part. Although we encourage going home literally, until such a time that you can do so, with todays technology, going home is literally a mouse click away, so join this community (common-unity) now and gain all benefits of membership including access to exclusive content, photos etc. Login to Home2Africa regularly and play an active role (donate, contribute to discussions, share your views, experiences and anything that you know will add value) to this most gratifying and noble cause. Become caretakers of the planet again as you once were.
The greatest gift you can give anyone is knowledge and you can not be truly fulfilled until you give back to others from that which you have been given.
Think. If you had the luxuries, infrastructure and public services (security, health, education , housing, etc.) commonly available in the western hemisphere, together with the beautiful sunshine of Africa, where would you really choose to live?
